Travel post (No recipe)
Dear friends, dear readers. I hope you are all enjoying a lovely, sunny summer. This will not be a long post, as I am typing on a computer with a keyboard which I am not at all familiar with; it will be a miracle if it isn’t full of mistakes by the end I finish typing.
But still, I would like to share with you a few pictures of my trip to the United States, which is – so far – going incredibly well. I will have so many things to share with you when I return to France, impressions and recipes! When I am not cooking at the café with my chef and two co-workers, I spend my time reading adventure novels, surrounded with four cats and three dogs, or going on road trips, bathing, and picking blueberries, or traveling to the Big City (New York) to visit friends and places, eat, and try out as many cocktails as I can handle without becoming ridiculous (hum).
Hereunder – and above – are a few pictures, the selection is somewhat random, but I had to make choices.

Merci. C’est une super expérience. Et je n’en suis pas à la moitié de mon séjour!
Je t’envie ma chère ! New York m’a toujours fait rêver ! Bel été à toi
Merci ! New York fait rêver, même une fois qu’on s’y trouve!
Quel endroit étonnant !!
Have a great time in the US and enjoy life to the fullest! ❤
I’m doing my best!
Merci pour ces cartes postales. Très bel été Darya !
Merci, toi aussi !
Bonne suite de séjour!
Merci !
Happy to ‘be’ there with you!!
Thanks ! I’m happy you enjoyed these pictures…
The cafe looks so cute and I can’t wait to visit. I’m glad you’re taking advantage of upstate NY summer. It’s the most beautiful time in the most beautiful place and it’s great seeing you in your jaunts to the big hot city. Hoping to see you up there very soon!
I can’t wait for you to visit! Do you know what day it might be? If I’m not working I could spend some time with you!
I would love to see the Highline. Thanks for sharing the photos.
The Highline is fun. Very touristy, but worth it!
Quelle magnifique aventure! Profite bien! Bises 🙂
Merci ! Je profite de tout à fond !
I have been enjoying seeing your trip photos on Instagram, enjoying for you and making me dream 🙂 Wishing you the best for the rest of your trip.
By the way I’m in Spain again now. I spent the last few weeks in Le Touquet and a little bit in Lille too. I had a welsh twice, I know I know its summer but the weather was cool, I wasn’t feeling « hot », and I’m a cheese monster 😉 We did a road trip from there all the way down to the South of Spain, it was great! Bisous
Thanks, Sofia. What a road trip! It looks like you are also enjoying your summer. The weather here has been more Welch friendly as well, but I have other alternatives here! See you in December?
Darya – the Rolling River looks adorable. How long are you staying for? You are not so far from Kingston, Ontario!
Hi Lindy, I am staying until August 29th! It is such a fun adventure. Why don’t you drive over? It is *only* a 4 and a half hour drive from Kingston!
Darya, I’m away in Quebec this week but when I get back, I’ll make a plan and see what works with you. Anazing!!
I’ll tell Amanda. She is planning to visit soon, so it would be amazing if you could come on the same day!!!
Darya, I’m just seeing this now. Do you have a potential date? You’re leaving soon, aren’t you?
I am. I will still be working here next week and the one after that. We are open Thursday through Sunday, check out the times on the website. Fridays aren’t too busy for me, I might even be able to take a seat and chat if we don’t have too many customers (can’t promise though 😉)
I had no idea you had embarked on an upstate adventure! That looks so lovely. Hope you are enjoying your summer and let me know if you are in NYC in the next few weeks 🙂
Oh I will be at the very end of the month. I’ll let you know!
